Project 5:19

Indie Artist Showcase

Your song. Your story.
A live audience ready to listen.

The Project 5:19 Artist Showcase gives independent artists a place to share original music, the story behind it, and the purpose that keeps them creating.

Free to submit. Every song is reviewed. Playback is never guaranteed.

Not a contest. Not a record-label audition. No submission guarantees a spin.
A curated place for real songs, real stories, and real connection.

WHY THIS EXISTS

More voices.
One shared mission.

Today’s Creative was built on the belief that scars do not have to remain hidden. They can become testimonies that help somebody else survive the night, take the next step, or remember that God has not abandoned them.

The Indie Artist Showcase extends that mission beyond one artist. It creates room for independent musicians whose work carries truth, conviction, resilience, redemption, faith, or the refusal to quit.

Ephesians 5:19 Speaking to one another with psalms, hymns and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord”.

THE PROCESS

How the showcase works

Artists submit directly through Project 5:19. Today’s Creative reviews each song before approved submissions are added to a live showcase queue.

01

Submit Your Song

Use the submission form below to send one original song, your Spotify link, artwork, and the story behind it.

02

We Review It

Songs are checked for ownership, content, audio quality, message, audience fit, and available livestream time.

03

The Queue Is Curated

The order is not strictly first-come-first-served. Songs may be moved, held, scheduled, or declined as the live requires.

04

The Story Gets Heard

When selected, the artist and song may be introduced and played for the Today’s Creative livestream community.

READY TO BE HEARD? Submit Your Song Send one original song for consideration during a Project 5:19 Artist Showcase. It is free to submit. Every song is reviewed before it is added to a live queue.

WHAT FITS PROJECT 5:19

Music with something real behind it.

Genre matters less than honesty, purpose, and whether the song can serve the community gathered in the live.

STRONG FITS

Songs that carry weight

  • Faith, spiritual strength, hope, or redemption
  • Overcoming trauma, fear, addiction, or hardship
  • Military, veteran, first-responder, or service experiences

  • Family, sacrifice, forgiveness, love, or restoration
  • Purpose-driven music that helps people keep going
GENRES WELCOME

Your sound does not have to match ours

  • Country, Americana, and folk
  • Rock, alternative, and metal with clean submissions
  • R&B, soul, pop, and gospel
  • Hip-hop and rap that respect the live audience
  • Genre-blending and hard-to-label original music
  • Other styles with a clear story or meaningful purpose
MAY BE DECLINED

Some music will not fit this space

  • Hateful, degrading, or intentionally divisive content
  • Stolen music, uncleared ownership, or misleading claims
  • Explicit material without an acceptable clean version
  • Audio that cannot be played clearly during a livestream
  • Spam submissions or inaccurate artist information
  • Anything that conflicts with Project 5:19’s purpose

BEFORE YOU SUBMIT

Clear rules. No hidden promises.

The showcase is built to serve artists and listeners with free submission, clear review standards, and no guaranteed outcome.

You must control the song

You must own, control, or be authorized to submit the recording and composition.

Submission is not a guarantee

Submission does not guarantee approval, scheduling, playback, promotion, feedback, or advance notice.

Submission is free

There is no fee to submit. Songs are reviewed before being placed into a live queue. Queue order may change based on artist availability, show flow, genre balance, technical issues, or time remaining.

Platforms still control their systems

Artist permission does not guarantee TikTok or another platform’s automated copyright system will not flag, mute, or interrupt music.

The live may change

Today’s Creative may change the schedule, format, queue, or selection order whenever the livestream requires it.

Respect the room

Songs do not have to be explicitly Christian, but they must respect the faith-driven audience and Project 5:19’s environment.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you submit

These answers keep expectations clear and help protect the purpose of the showcase.

Submit Your Song
Does submitting guarantee my song will be played?

No. Every song is reviewed and curated. Selection depends on ownership, content, audio quality, audience fit, available time, and the flow of the live.

Do I have to make Christian music?

No. The showcase welcomes different genres and artist backgrounds. The submitted song must still respect the faith-driven audience and Project 5:19’s environment.

Is there a fee to enter the showcase?

No. Submitting to Project 5:19 is free. There is no required purchase or paid queue boost. Submission and approval do not guarantee playback, and the live queue may change as the show requires.

Why is the queue not strictly first-come-first-served?

A live needs balance. Song length, genre, energy, clean-content requirements, technical issues, artist availability, and the overall flow of the show may change the order.

Will I know in advance if my song is selected?

Advance notice may be provided when possible, but it is not guaranteed. Livestream timing and platform conditions can change quickly.

Can copyright systems still flag my music?

Yes. Permission from the artist does not control TikTok or another platform’s automated copyright system. A song may still be muted, flagged, or interrupted.

Can I submit more than one song?

Yes, but please submit one song at a time and avoid flooding the inbox with repeated entries. One strong, accurate submission is better than several duplicates, and every song is reviewed separately.

WHERE SCARS BECOME TESTIMONIES
